When the power is turned off, the Wii Remote will lose its sync with the Wii Console. In this mode, the Wii Remote will only communicate with the Wii console while the power is on. One Time Mode does not delete the Standard Mode setting stored in the Wii Remote. Reinsert the batteries and sync the Wii Remote again. This will clear all synced Wii Remotes from the console. Open the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds. It can also be used to change the order of the Wii Remotes, without the need to turn off the Wii console. Turn the Wii console on and wait until the 'Health & Safety' screen appears (dont press A). ONE TIME MODE - This mode allows you to temporarily use your remote on a Wii console other than your own, or to use a friend's remote on your console.Once synchronised, the Wii Remote will stay synced to the console unless you overwrite the settings by syncing the remote to a different console. STANDARD MODE - The Standard Mode procedure is used when adding additional Wii Remotes to your system or if you want to re-synchronise your original Wii Remote. There is no need to read this byte, since games dont.
#SYNC WII REMOTE PLUS#
While the Motion Plus is initialising, the value at 0x (4)a600f7 changes from 0x02 to 0x04 to 0x08 to 0x0C to 0x0E then stays at 0x0E. But there is no need to write 00 to 0x (4)a500fb, since Wii games dont do that. There are two different modes of synchronising (syncing): The extension is initialised by writing 0x55 to 0x (4)a600f0.

However, all additional Wii Remotes you use with your system also need to be synced in order to function properly. Then, on the Wii system, hit the SYNC button. Remove the battery cover and push the red ‘SYNC’ button to resync the Wii Remote. This will remove any Wii Remotes that have been synchronized from the system. The Wii Remote included with your system should already be synchronised to your console. Press and hold the red SYNC button for 15 seconds after opening the SD Card slot cover on the front of the Wii system. Synchronising the Wii Remote to a Wii console allows the Wii Remote to communicate with the console.
